“She’s Dead. May She Rest in Peace. — Letting Old Identities Go, Beltane Energy, and Leveling Up” – Hippie Chicks Live: S01E19

It’s May Day, baby. Cat and Elle are raising their glasses (Cazemi Caliente Breeze, meet skinny margarita) to Beltane, the halfway point between the spring equinox and summer solstice, and all the abundance energy that comes with it. But this isn’t just a party. There’s a Scorpio full moon in the air, and she is not here to let you stay comfortable.

The girls dive into what this lunar energy is really asking of us. facing what we’ve been avoiding, releasing the identities and patterns that have kept us numb, and learning to go through the discomfort instead of around it. As Cat puts it, you might as well sit down and have a drink with the monster, because honey, you’re going through it either way.

Elle opens up about a surprisingly profound moment triggered by a lost house key. what started as shame and a near-spiral became a quiet victory in emotional regulation, a moment that proved she’d created a whole new operating system within herself. No medication. No numbing. Just her, her breath, and a very grounding tree-shaped keychain.

Cat then unpacks a social media moment that sparked unexpected pushback. when she declared that an old version of herself, the one who survived but also tolerated too much, was officially dead. Not everything, she says, is meant to be integrated. Some old selves deserve to rest. That distinction matters.

And to close out this episode on the highest possible note: Elle drops a live exclusive. She’s heading to New York for an audition in an equity showcase production, a three-person play called Crabs in a Barrel, and Cat is already reading the Queen of Wands for her. The only queen facing forward, legs spread, black cat front and center. Sounds about right.
