Samadhi Part 1

Embark on a mesmerizing journey into the heart of awakening with Samadhi Part 1: Maya, the Illusion of the Self, the groundbreaking first chapter in Daniel Schmidt’s acclaimed documentary series.

This visually poetic and deeply contemplative film explores the ancient Sanskrit concept of Samadhi – the mystical union that lies at the root of all spirituality and genuine self-inquiry.

Why is realizing Samadhi more relevant now than ever? In a world of distraction and fragmentation, this film gently guides us back to the timeless truth: freedom from the limited self, freedom from suffering, and the direct experience of our true nature beyond name and form.

Blending insights from Eastern and Western mysticism, science, and perennial philosophy, Samadhi Part 1 serves not as mere information for the intellect, but as a powerful catalyst for inner transformation – an artistic offering born from the director’s own journey of awakening.
