The Samadhi Films

Samadhi Films is a celebrated documentary series created by filmmaker Daniel Schmidt. Part of the non-profit Awaken the World Initiative, these visually rich, philosophical films explore non-duality, meditation, and the awakening of human consciousness

The films are intended to help viewers dissolve the illusion of the separate egoic self.

The series features four distinct chapters:

Part 1: Maya, the Illusion of the Self – Explores the ego, the conditioned mind, and the illusion of separation.
Part 2: It's Not What You Think – Delves into turning consciousness inward and breaking free from conceptual thought.
Part 3: The Pathless Path – A deeper look at non-duality, awakening, and going beyond material and spiritual illusions.
Part 4: Sadhana – Focuses on the spiritual practices (sadhana) and inner disciplines that allow one's true nature to awaken.
