Many have heard that Jesus was known as “the Word” (Logos) but Sophia (Barbelo) was the “first Thought” according to this text once hidden and buried in a jar in Nag Hammadi, in a scripture called The Trimorphic Protennoia which translates as the “Three Forms of First Thought.” This is a portion of this beautiful poetic Gnostic text.
